How does the pricing work?

Pricing for scaffolding includes costs for:

- Period of hire

- Amount of material or equipment required for the job

- Labour costs associated with erecting and dismantling scaffold

- Freight costs associated with delivering and picking up scaffold equipment

How do I know what type of scaffold I need?

Depending on what the desired job is we provide either Mobile Scaffold on wheels or Fixed scaffold (modular scaffold) on adjustable screw jacks. Just give us a call and we can organise this for you.

Mobile scaffold is ideal for a flat area where walls and or ceilings must be worked on, as seen in the picture (top).

Fixed (modular)scaffold is for areas where there is no possibility for a mobile scaffold to be wheeled around due to a limited amount of space or an uneven surface . This is most usually the exterior of buildings where painting, render or cladding is applied and in this example, the scaffold is set up according to the perimeter/height of the site, this scaffold also allows a walkway around the site for tradesmen (as seen in the picture on the right . 

Is there delivery/collection fee?

Delivery and collection are built into our quotes and part of the initial fixed period if desired by customer.

What areas do you undertake work?

National Scaffold go anywhere in Metropolitan Melbourne, which includes areas on the edge of Metropolitan Melbourne.

Do we have liability insurance?

Yes, we carry full liability insurances.

What is LABOUR Hire?

Labour hire includes our licensed scaffolders erecting (setting up) and dismantling (taking down) the scaffold , this is only done with our own scaffolding equipment.

Is a licensed scaffolder needed to erect/ dismantle scaffold?

A licensed scaffolder is required to erect/dismantle any scaffold which is 4 metres or higher from the ground.

How much does a quote cost?

Quotes are completely FREE.

Do we need a permit?

A permit is only required when the scaffold will be occupying a road or public footpath. This permit is organised by your local council and can be organised by us if required.
